SANDOK9 Dog Training

We believe that every dog has the potential to be a well-mannered companion. Our philosophy is rooted in a deep understanding of canine psychology and the unique relationship between a dog and its owner. We don't just train behaviors; we build trust and communication that lasts a lifetime.

I was born in Jacona, Michoacán, Mexico. As a child, I began training pointing dogs alongside my father, from whom I learned respect, love, and proper care for dogs through the Jacona Pointing Dog Club. Later, I became a founding member of the Zamora Kennel Club, where I titled dogs of various breeds (Belgian Malinois, Dogue de Bordeaux, Doberman, American Pit Bull Terrier, American Bully, among others...) in all-breed conformation shows and specialty events held in different cities throughout Mexico.

I later pursued professional education and certification as a dog trainer in various disciplines. In January 2004, I founded Sando-Can Canine Center, and to this day we have helped thousands of families enjoy well-trained, healthy, and happy dogs. I have served as a technical advisor for K9 teams in various Military and Law Enforcement organizations. I have also participated in canine sports, including P.P. (the Mexican National Protection Dog Sport), where I titled multiple dogs.

 

In addition, I became a certified decoy (agitator) at Levels 1 and 2. I am currently training in the IGP sport, where I earned certification as a club-level helper and titled a dog in the BH temperament and obedience test. In 2020, I immigrated to California, USA, and founded the Sando-K9 Dog Center.
